This lot features two game-worn jerseys from the Peterborough Petes’ 2003-04 OHL season,
each displaying strong game use and unique team details.
Corey Gault’s 2003-04 home game-worn jersey is a size 54 CCM-manufactured white jersey
featuring the commemorative Roger Neilson “Roger” patch sewn onto the chest. The CCM logo
patch is affixed to the right breast, while a Rays patch and OHL logo patch are stitched onto the
left breast. The jersey exhibits extensive game wear, including puck and stick marks scattered
across the entire front, with a notable team repair toward the bottom. Both shoulders feature the
Petes logo patches. The right sleeve shows additional puck and stick marks along with board
burns, while the left sleeve has two team repairs, puck and stick marks, and further board burns.
The numerals “21” are stitched in white on both arms and the back, with “GAULT” in maroon on
an affixed nameplate. The back of the jersey displays more puck and stick marks, and a fight
strap remains securely stitched inside the jersey and comes with LOA.
Mike Melinko’s 2003-04 alternate maroon game-worn jersey is a size 52 Bauer-manufactured
sweater, displaying evidence of a former nameplate. The CCM logo patch is stitched onto the
left breast, while both shoulders showcase the Petes logo patches. The front bears extensive
puck and stick marks. The right sleeve has two team repairs along with board burns, stick, and
puck marks, while the left sleeve exhibits three team repairs and further game wear throughout.
The numerals are black-over-yellow and white on both arms and the back, with “MELINKO” in
white on an affixed nameplate. A CCM logo is stitched over the original Bauer logo on the
bottom hem, and the back of the jersey continues to show heavy game use with more puck and
stick marks. A fight strap remains properly affixed inside the jersey.
