Featuring the complete ensemble of Disney's cartoon characters from the 1930s led by the mischievous Mickey Mouse, the 1935 V303 O-Pee-Chee card set matches the Gum, Inc. issue card for card, with the fronts mirroring the cards released in the U.S. We offer a starter set 68/99), along with a 1930 Willard's Chocolates Ltd V102 Men of the Mounted (Police) near set (39/40), and 1930 O-Pee-Chee V306 Wild West Series near set (43/48). The V303 cards are missing 8, 10, 11, 15, 17, 21, 22, 23, 27, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 41, 51, 52, 54, 59, 70, 72, 80, 83, 89, 94 and 95 for completion, with most of the cards in lower grade, including approx 12 cards POOR with back damage from scrapbook removal, and 12 also in POOR without the back damage, 23 cards F to F+ and 21 cards G to G+. For the V102 near set, missing is just card #10 for completion. The overall condition ranges from G to VG, with the exceptions to include #13, #29, #33 and #40 all FAIR, and cards #1 and #39 are POOR. For the V306, revealed here is a series of colorful, romanticized scenes that answered a period fascination by depicting life in what was still a largely untamed North American frontier. This is the scarcer Canadian version of a similar, U.S.-issued counterpart; the V306 array features bilingual text on the backs to accommodate both English- and French-speaking audiences. The cards are numbered from 1 through 24 and 26 through 49; #25 (a rare "premium" card in the issue's U.S. version) does not exist in this Canadian issue. This near set is missing 14, 18, 28, 35 and 45 (card #25 was not issued in the Canadian version), with an average grade range of G to VG, with the exceptions to include cards #17, #44, and #49 all POOR, and cards #3, #20, #22, #29, #34 and #46 all FAIR.
