This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/29/2025
The first NBA team - along with the Vancouver Grizzlies - to play in Canada since the 1946–47 Toronto Huskies, the Toronto Raptors debuted in 1995-96, filled with veteran talent including John Salley, Oliver Miller, Willie Anderson, Tony Massenburg, Ed Pinckney, Žan Tabak and Acie Earl. While not an overly successful season, the Raptors became a force in 2015-16, advancing to the conference semifinals or finals for five seasons in a row which included an NBA championship in 2018-19. From the inaugural season in 1995-96, we offer a limited-edition Ed Chin team-signed lithograph and medallions framed display. The litho is approx 19" x 22", signed by 14 in thin silver ink, including Damon Stoudamire, Acie Earl, Willie Anderson, Oliver Miller, Jimmy King, Martin Lewis, Vincenzo Esposito, Ed Pinckney, Tracy Murray, Alvin Robertson, John Salley and others. The medallions are inserted at each side of the base, with a centered plaque listing the particulars. Chin has signed over the bottom right, with the limited-edition number of 56/1995 handwritten. Double-matted in Raptors purple, the display is framed to full dimensions of approx 26 1/2" x 34 1/2". A JSA LOA will accompany.
While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for any damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
