Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/29/2025
This lot features a game-used Hespeler CS Pro hockey stick used by Gary Roberts during his tenure with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the early-2000s. The stick retains its original tape job on the knob, which has a handwritten “7” in blue marker. The blade tape has been removed for the signature, which appears in bold black marker on the front. The stick exhibits noticeable game wear, including scuffing along the shaft and blade, with no significant cracks or structural damage.
Also included is a Toronto Maple Leafs white CCM replica jersey signed by Roberts. Made by CCM, "Center Ice Authentic" and size "52 Made in Canada" tagging are affixed to the collar. The jersey features blue-over-white-and-silver numbering, with "ROBERTS" on the nameplate. There is some yellowing on the nameplate, along with small brown stains on the front, primarily over the logo and upper right side. Additional small stains are present on the lower front, back, and right shoulder, with a small black mark on the lower back. A fight strap is sewn inside the jersey. Roberts signed the jersey
twice; once in blue marker on the right breast, and again in silver marker on the back, over the number “7.”
The lot will be accompanied by a JSA Auction LOA for the signed jersey and the signature on
the stick
