Spending numerous seasons in his native Russia with Atlant Moscow Oblast, Nikita Soshnikov signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Toronto in 2015 as an undrafted free agent. Seeing action with the blue and white in 11 games in 2015-16, the 2018 World Championships participant then played in 56 games with Toronto in 2016-17, and we offer a Leafs jersey worn by Soshnikov that season. A label with “56” sizing resides over the inner collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Featuring a vintage style Leafs team crest with “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered, “26” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in oversized white twill, with “Soshnikov” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. The jersey also sports the NHL centennial crest over the right sleeve, with “3” handwritten to the fight strap to denote third set. Sporting light game-use, there are a few faint burns and marks visible. The team patch resides on the inside hem, with a COA matching the serial number to accompany from the Leafs.
