Raymond Bourque skated in his 13th NHL All-Star Game in 1994 and he set up Bob Kudelski for the Eastern Conference's first goal on the way to a 9-8 victory. Afterward, the Hall of Fame defender bestowed a signed pro model 1994 NHL All-Star Game Eastern Conference jersey to former teammate Stephane Quintal, who was then playing for the Winnipeg Jets. The pair had been together in Boston from 1988-89 to 1991-92.
A dedication and note to Quintal from Bourque appears on the inside of the jersey behind the crest which has a beautiful bold signature at the bottom. The inscription reads: "A Stephane, lache pas mon gros! Bonne chance". Note that this jersey is not game-used, but it is a pro model size 54 produced by CCM as part of the Center Ice Authentic Collection. One of the tags in the collar has been removed, but the sizing tag and Center Ice tag are still intact. Since this jersey was previously mounted, there are several holes throughout which came from pins. These can be spotted on the cuffs and elbows on the arms, near the numbers on the sleeves, above the 1994 NHL All-Star Game patches, and throughout the front and reverse of the torso. Additionally, there are stains which appear on each forearm, the right front shoulder, both sides of the bottom cuff, the event patches, and in the white area near the numbers on the back and along each side of the front torso's white area. However, this is an item which will display nicely and has the special significance of having been a gift between fellow NHL players. A signed LOA from Quintal will accompany this jersey.
