Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021

Appearing in just 19 games during his final season with les Canadiens, Guy Lafleur returned to the NHL after his HOF induction, seeing action in three seasons from 1988 to 1991, with the first spent in New York followed by two in his home province with Quebec. This stick most likely saw action with Lafleur during his time with the Rangers in 1988-89, or could have been possibly used a short time later with the Nordiques. A Sher-Wood PMP7000 model with “Lafleur” and “10” stamped to the upper shaft, the original black tape remains on the blade and white over the handle and knob. Heavy game-use is exhibited with wear to the blade and considerable chipping to the finish over the shaft. Guy has added a black marker signature to the taped section of handle, and it displays well.
