This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Trailing only Wayne Gretzky for all-time points at the time of his retirement, Ron Francis is a veteran of over 1,700 NHL contests and earned a trio of Lady Byng Trophies including his last in 2002, the era the offered signed stick saw use (this specific type of model was used in 2001-02 and 2002-03). An Easton Synergy model with “10 Francis” factory graphics, the original white cloth wrap remains on the knob (with “10” handwritten), with the blade tape removed for the large and bold silver paint pen signature that displays well but shows signs of being rubbed. Exhibiting light game-use, there are a few dark marks over the lower shaft and heel section. It should also be noted that Francis secured his milestone 500th goal in 2001-02. Hailing from the personal collection of a prominent hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
