Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! This lot offers a large collection of hockey Christmas cards, ideal for endless stocking stuffing. Totaling approx 72 and spanning from the 1930s right up until the 1990s, with a large concentration of Toronto Maple Leafs Christmas cards from the 1980s, highlights include a small fold-over Providence Reds card from 1935-36 with player images including Toe Blake, a 1930s Christmas card with unidentified European team photo, a 1929-30 Seattle Eskimos Christmas card with team photo, and an example with lengthy notation signed by HOF member W.A. Hewitt. Other gems include Christmas cards signed by HOF members Red Dutton, Toe Blake, Art Coulter and Frank Selke. There is also a Chicago Black Hawks Christmas card from 1949 signed by Bob Goldham. The Leafs cards total approx 34, with a few additional small team photos including from 1963-64 and 1966-67. Rounding out the lot, there are additional Christmas cards from NHL clubs Calgary, Montreal, Chicago, and Quebec, and we even have a small cardboard Christmas gift box from the circa 1930s/40s with hockey graphics still flat as produced, never open and used. The majority of the Christmas cards show light wear with no issues.
