Meet The Beatles! It was 50 years ago today that Sergeant Pepper taught the band to play – but they never went out of style. This cool set of four original 1964 Beatles bobbing head dolls by Car Mascots Inc. features four fab nodders of the Fab Four in nice condition overall despite chips and cracks, mostly to the heads. The John, Paul and George bobbing head dolls stand a shade under 8" tall each while seated Ringo, with his delicate drumsticks intact, is just over 7" tall. Stickers with their respective Beatle's facsimile signature are displayed on the front of each base. Car Mascots label is applied to bottom of the base which is also stamped (copyright symbol) 1964 Car Mascots Inc. There is a crack through the front of Ringo’s right Cuban boot down through the right front corner of the base. The autograph sticker applied to the front of the base is missing part of the top and bottom of Ringo’s first name. There are chips to the right side of the edge of Ringo’s chin and a few light vertical cracks in the back of the head and down from the right ear.
The McCartney nodder has chips along the left side on the edge of the chin, and there is a broken piece on the right side of the chin that looks like it was crudely repaired. There is a vertical glue repair all along the left side of the back and cracks in the lower part of the gold-colored rear of legs down to the base.
The Lennon doll’s head has a chip missing from the left side of the chin, vertical cracks up from the right edge of the chin, and chips on the bottom of the back edge.
The Harrison nodder has cracks on the lower right side of the face and chips along the bottom right and left edges of the head. There are cracks on the back left of the head, and scuffing to the skin tone paint on the nose and left cheek.
