Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
A nice set of Tampa Bay Buccaneers game-worn and game-issued jerseys from the 1980s and ‘90s up for grabs, beginning with linebacker Miles Turpin’s number “51” gamer he donned when he suited up three games during the ’87 NFLPA strike. This white mesh gamer has a “Wilson, size 50” patch sewn in the hem, with the red and orange numbers and stripes being of the rubberized variety. Kicker Michael Husted, who was a Buccaneer from ’93 to ’98, (and who holds the franchise record for most points), wore his red Bucs gamer in circa ‘97 or ’98, which were his final two seasons in Tampa Bay before moving on to Oakland and Washington. This great gamer with the red, orange and white triple tackle twill numbers and single twill nameplate, shows a sewn-on patch on the hem as “Wilson” with a handwritten in black marker “DK 12-7” on it, along with a size “42” flap attached. A grass stain is noticeable on the front number, and to note are pins in the sleeves to tighten them up. Next is a game-issued jersey for tackle Jason Odom, a Buc from 1996 to ’99, with this jersey from circa-1998-’99. This white mesh beauty features the black, orange, and red triple tackle twill numbers and single twill nameplate, with a patch sewn onto the hem as an “NFL Pro Line” with a size “48” flap attached. A fourth jersey is also included, a white game-issued jersey circa-late ‘80s/early ‘90s, featuring rubberized number “92” on front and back, while on the hem is a “Russell Athletic size 44” patch with an attached flap as “4” Extra Length”.
