Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

Ernie Hicke's magnificent blue 1969-70 Salt Lake Golden Eagles game-worn jersey is one of the cooler durene beauties we've come across. Hicke wore this gamer with the WHL Golden Eagles on his way to making his NHL debut the following season with the California Golden Seals. This blue game-worn jersey is from the team's inaugural season set which they kept through their first three seasons. It was worn in 1970-71 by Murray Kuntz and believed to have been worn the following season by Reg Fleming. General Athletic tagging inside the tail has a vintage Lee Underwood Designs tag hand sewn onto it. Awesome gold hem has distinctive red and white striping. There are a few team repairs near the cuffs of both sleeves and more game wear shows in marks and board burns.
