Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
From the Eastern Amateur Hockey League (EAHL) Boston Olympics, a Bruins farm team that existed from 1940 to 1952, comes this 1944 Championship gold ring, a fine bauble from a team that boasted future NHL HOFers Allan Stanley, and Fern Flaman. This size 10 ring is engraved on the inner band with what seems to be "Dieges & Clust" along with "10 Karat" and Kelly's initials "G.K.". The face of the ring has "EAHL" on top, the Boston Olympics logo and "Champions" below. One shank reads as "19", while other as "44". Very few nicks or scratching are on this vintage piece, but some of the lettering on the face is well worn, particularly "Champions", but in general has still been well-preserved and now ready for a loving home. Comes with a handwritten LOA from its former owner.
