A fantastic Maurice "Rocket" Richard illustration by Tex Coulter graces the cover of this Montreal Forum 1959 Stanley Cup final program. This original from Game 2 has the middle 16 pages loose in the centerfold, beginning with the April 11, 1959 "Frankly Speaking" column, the date of the Canadiens' 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs. Habs took the series in five to become the first team to win the Stanley Cup in four consecutive seasons, a mark they would extend to five the following year. Complete 56-page program and measures just under 11" x 8" and is wonderfully preserved, with the bottom centerfold staple missing and a few small tears at the edges. “1841” is written in red ink above the team names on both the Maple Leafs and Canadiens lineup pages in the loose middle section, which has a more pronounced vertical fold crease than the rest of the program.
