Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

A double-signed check personal check from Maurice Richard is among the four nice Rocket items included here, with the check being from the great man’s General Fishing Lines company he owned to help make ends meet. There’s also a nice 8” x 10” photograph of the famous Barilko goal from April 21, 1951, when the Leafs defenceman scored the Cup winner against the Canadiens, nicely signed in blue marker by Richard and Habs goalie Gerry McNeil. A cool and scarce premium picture from circa 1940s measures 7” x 9 ½" and shows a smiling Rocket in his his white uniform, and lastly a 1957-58 Humpty Dumpty 500th goal souvenir stick (17”) with Rocket’s facsimile autograph and “500 But” printed on the blade. All four items remain in excellent condition, with the photos showing no marks or tears, and the check having a faint crease in the middle. The stick also remains in wonderful condition with no marks or any issues whatsoever. Just a great way to beef up your Maurice Richard collection with four super items.
