Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Habs fans and hockey collectors in general are going to want to snap this little gem up, a genuine 1956 Canadiens Stanley Cup ribbon worn by players, staff and a few other insiders at the 1956 Stanley Cup parade through the streets of Montreal. This little gem measures 1 ½” x 5 ½” and has been preserved in glorious condition. Also offered is a vintage 1956 UPI photo measuring 8” x 10” showing coach Toe Blake, in his first year as Habs coach, sipping from the Stanley Cup as Don Marshall, Butch Bouchard, Boom Boom Geoffrion, Dickie Moore, and Jackie Leclair celebrate with him. The UPI stamp and typed description are on the back of the photo that is in great condition with just a touch of edge wear.
