Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
This 1991 Canada Cup Team Canada trophy presented to New Jersey Devils forward Claude Lemieux is an impressive elite international hockey keepsake. Standing a shade under 10" tall, the stylized maple leaf mounted on a puck-shaped base obtained directly from Claude Lemieux commemorates Team Canada's fourth overall win in the fifth and final edition of the best-on-best tournament. Lemieux took part in Team Canada's training camp and pre-tournament and received this trophy though he did not play in the 1991 Canada Cup tournament, which saw Canada sweep the United States in two games in the best-of-three final. “MST Bronze Limited” manufacturer’s sticker is affixed to the red felt on the bottom of the base. A signed LOA from Claude Lemieux will accompany.
