Steve Garvey’s 1977 L.A. Dodgers NL Champions multi-signed game-used bat is featured in this collection of items signed by the slugging first baseman from the personal collection of Senator Normand Grimard. Garvey signed in bold black marker on the barrel of his Louisville Slugger, which is signed by 13, including Davey Lopes, Bill Russell, Tommy John and HOF manager Tommy Lasorda, and comes with a JSA LOA. Four frames are featured among the five other autographed photos with dedications, including a three-photo frame of Garvey’s walk-off home run for the San Diego Padres to win Game 4 of the 1984 NLCS.
Garvey’s 1977 LA Dodgers multi-signed game-used bat has his No. 6 handwritten in black marker on each end. The bat is also signed by Manny Mota, Jerry Grote, Rafael Landestoy, Doug Rau, Ed Goodson, and Red Adams, among others.
Garvey’s autograph on the bottom left corner of the matte of “The Home Run, October 6, 1984” frame of three successive photos of his walk-off home run in Game 4 of the 1984 NLCS reads, “To Dolly & Normand, My Best to You Always, Steve Garvey” in black ballpoint. The frame’s matte has a “788/1000” limited edition notation on the bottom right. The gold-colored frame measures 9 1/2" x 27”.
Garvey has signed with dedications to Senator Grimard and the senator’s wife on each of two framed Dodgers media photos, each mounted in a grey matte and displayed in a 12 1/4" x 14” frame.
Garvey signed and dedicated “To Normand, A Great Man & Friend, My Best Always” a photo of himself and Grimard in a 12” x 14” frame.
Garvey signed and dedicated, “To Dolly & Normand, Best Wishes to My Great Friends! XX Steve Garvey” a 10x8 photo of himself posed in his Padres uniform.
