Terry Sawchuk and Gordie Howe each autographed the two vintage Detroit Red Wings team-signed items offered here. Featured is a 1953-54 Stanley Cup champions Red Wings team-signed puck autographed by 21, including GM Jack Adams and coach Tommy Ivan. Team-signed pucks from that era are rarely seen and this one has a Stanley Cup pedigree from the midst of Detroit’s 1950s dynasty and a total of nine members of the Hockey Hall of Fame who have signed! Sawchuk and Howe have also signed among the 22 autographs within the pages of a 1962-63 Red Wings team-signed media guide that includes signatures from seven Hall of Fame members. Comes with a PSA/DNA LOA for the team-signed puck.
The 1953-54 Stanley Cup champion Red Wings team-signed puck is also autographed by HOFers Ted Lindsay, Red Kelly, Alex Delvecchio, and Marcel Pronovost. Al Arbour, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his coaching career, has signed along with fellow 1953-54 Red Wings teammates Keith Allen, Marty Pavelich, Bob Goldham, Metro Prystai, John Wilson, Tony Leswick, Bill Dineen, Benny Woit, Earl Reibel, Glen Skov and Jimmy Peters, and trainer Carl Mattson. The signatures are in gold-colored ink on one side, with “Worlds Champions 1953-1954” arched near the edge of the reverse of the puck, which is mounted on a wood base.
The team-signed 1962-63 Red Wings media guide is autographed by Sid Abel, Alex Delvecchio, Val Fonteyne, Bill Gadsby, Gordie Howe, Larry Jeffrey, Eddie Joyal, Parker McDonald, Bruce MacGregor, Marcel Pronovost, Terry Sawchuk (red ink), Floyd Smith, Norm Ullman, Howie Young, Hank Bassen, Al Johnson, Forbes Kennedy, Claude Laforge, Lowell MacDonald, John Miszuk, Gerry Odrowski and Barclay Plager on their respective bio pages.
