Condition-wise, we see the ’77-’78 yearbook (8 ½” x 11”) in outstanding shape, as are the 2 ’70-’71 and ’71-’72 attached postcards in their folders. The 6 team-issued pictures are terrific and come in 2 sizes – 4 at 6” x 7”, and 2 at 6” x 9”. (Leo Boivin’s pic has some darkening around the edges.) The 13 pictures from 1963-65 measure 6” x 8 ½” and remain in great shape, while the 23 1967-68 pics measure 3 ½” x 5” and have the players’ names printed the backs. The 4 postcards from the late-1950s remain blank on their backs, while the 17 blank McCarthy postcards measure 3 ¼” x 5 ½” and show various backs(some darkening around the edges). From the 51 early to mid-1960s photos there’s a touch of edge darkening, and the lot measuring (in general), 5” x 7”. The 27 vintage photos from the 1950s and ‘60s measure 8” x 10” and also show some darkening around the edges, while the 9 media photos from the early-1970s remain in great condition all-round. Of the 39 vintage 8” x 10” photos reproduced in the 1970s/80s (Dit Clapper, Eddie Shore etc), many of them have suffered some water damaged that is more prominent on the backs but noticeable on the fronts as well
