A completely encapsulated 1951-52 Parkhurst hockey card set to examine and describe to you - we are excited and honored to have the opportunity! And get this, we won't be telling you about any VG 3s or VG-EX 4s or EX 5s; this is a fabulous assembly consisting of mostly 7s and 8s, with three grading companies involved. The vast majority (86 cards) are in PSA holders and headlined by NM-MT 8 examples of kingpins Maurice Richard and Terry Sawchuk, with the registration of the latter card something to marvel at - a tremendous card. The Richard rookie meanwhile boasts perfect centering among its attributes. The image of Gordie Howe is right of center on his sharp and coveted RC which merited NM 7 status at SGC. Now then, on to the highlights and lowdown of the rest - we know you're anxious to read on. Worthy of NM-MT 8 recognition in the eyes of PSA are 42 cards, highlighted by RCs of Hall of Famers 7-Johnson, 19-Henry, 37-Gadsby, 47-Lumley, 49-Mosienko, 55-Kelly (OC), 56-Lindsay, 68-Pronovost, 72-Meeker and 80-Flaman, with 28-Dumart and 53-Stewart also 8s and the remaining numbers listed below. Three NM+ 7.5 entries are RCs of 26-Quackenbush, 31-Lund and 100-Hergesheimer, while leading three dozen (36) at NM 7 are 10-Harvey, 14-Geoffrion, 15-McNeil, 48-D. Bentley, 63-Delvecchio, 76-Rollins, 81-M. Bentley, 83-Mackell and 104-Rayner, with Max Bentley's card the only non-RC. Completing the PSA lineup is a trio of EX-MT 6s; 1-Lach, 54-Pavelich RC and 86-Kennedy RC. .....In SGC holders are eight cards (all RCs), with three of them NM/MT 8s; 50-R. Conacher, 65-Prystai and 101-Kullman. There's a NM+ 7.5 (84-Sid Smith) and four NM 7s; 3-Bouchard, 11-Mosdell, 70-Watson and 75-Broda. .....KSA-graded cards total ten, with 29-Schmidt in an early KSA holder labeled "8.5 MINT", while at 8.5 NMM+ is Allan Stanley's (#94) rookie. Five at 8 NMN are RCs of 2-Meger, 6-MacPherson, 57-Skov and 105-Conacher, as well as 64-Abel. Completing are a couple of 7 NMs (5-Olmstead RC and 103-Sinclair RC), along with one you've been wondering about; 52-The Winning Goal is slabbed 6.5 ENM+. .....Finally, the not-aforementioned NM-MT 8s are #s 16, 20, 21-25, 27, 30, 32-34, 38-41, 43, 45, 46, 59, 60, 62, 67, 73, 85, 87, 88, 90, 92 and 98. Truly a sensational and tantalizing ensemble for serious hobbyists to contemplate......*Please note that we are selling this set in a set vs. individual lots format.
