Named MVP at the 1982 NCAA Regional Baseball Tournament, Phil Lane spent three seasons at the University of Miami, blasting 62 home runs throughout his tenure including 25 during the Hurricanes first national championship season in 1982. We have a University of Miami Hurricanes 1982 National Championship 10K Gold Ring that was presented to Lane. Size 10 ½” with an approx. weight of 39 grams, a diamond sits centralized within a bright green stone, encompassed by “University of Miami National Champions” and “1982”. The left shank feature’s a full colour Hurricanes logo with “Andy” above (Lane’s nickname), while the right contains an image of Miami’s home diamond, with “Hurricanes” above and “Undefeated NCAA 8-0” below. “Phil Lane” is also engraved onto the inner band, along with “Jostens 10K”. An LOA will accompany.
Wear is present on the shanks, bezel and inner and outer band, with edges also exhibiting light wear, with some minor scratching to the outer band. Additional scratches are also present on each side, but these do little to affect the majestic display value, with the ring in overall gorgeous condition.
