Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
Originally seeing pre-season and/or training camp use during the mid-1990s, this Montreal Canadiens jersey was used by an unknown prospect named “Meyers”, and with evidence of a former nameplate, the jersey may have also been worn by Pierre Sevigny, Craig Conroy or Eric Houde prior to Meyers. Maska and size “54” labels are affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “20” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Meyers” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. Sporting heavy game-use, there are marks over the front along with additional marks, burns and red paint transfer to the sleeves, with considerable pilling to areas of the interior which assures prolonged use. There is also a separation along the reverse collar. An LOA from the Montreal Canadiens will accompany.
