Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Mark "The Moose" Messier answered the call in 1987 to join the best of Canada's on-ice talent as the team took on the rest of the globe at the 1987 Canada Cup. Messier played in all nine scheduled games, scoring once, adding six assists for a point total of seven. Messier has applied a black marker signature to the second “1” on the back of the jersey, with the autograph nice and clean, and holograms from Steiner and Sports Memorabilia are affixed on the lower portion of the number with their respective COAs included as well. An action photo of Messier is mounted on the lower middle portion of the frame, with a descriptive plaque below, and Hockey Canada logos are applied in each lower corner areas with everything framed to overall dimensions of just under 42” x 47. A small chip is noticeable on the lower edge of the frame which otherwise remains in excellent condition. Please take note that due to the item’s size/weight, shipping may be substantial.
