Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
On top of the hockey world as the league’s most dominant goaltender in the mid-1970s, Bernie Parent completed two unbelievable back-to-back-seasons in 1973-74 and 1974-75, winning the Vezina and Conn Smythe trophies along with the Stanley Cup in each year! We have a stick used by the HOFer during the Stanley Cup championship season of 1973-74. A Sher-Wood PMP Pattern model, “Parent B.” is stamped to the upper shaft, with the stick retaining its original white tape over the blade, paddle and knob. There is also a green date stamp along an edge of the paddle of “22 Nov 1973”. Great use is exhibited on the lumber, with numerous puck marks across the frontside blade, with some cracking and material loss to the underside of the blade.
