Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
Combining the longevity of Gordie Howe with the goal scoring touch of Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr serves as one of the greatest players the game has ever witnessed, with his 33 seasons of professional hockey the most in history. From his Art Ross and Lester B. Pearson-winning season of 1999-00, we have a signed stick used by the superstar during his time with Pittsburgh. A KOHO ABS CAP model with “Jagr” stamped midway down the shaft, the stick retains the original black tape over the blade and handle, with “763-9” handwritten along the inserted KOHO blade stem. Light use is exhibited, with wear to the taped section of blade, with the fiberglass on one area of the blade “bowed”. There is also minor tape residue visible on two areas of the shaft. Jagr has added a flawless silver paint pen signature to the heel section that stands out beautifully against the black background.
