Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

A well-centered second-year Bobby Orr card headlines this 1967-68 Topps set, with a notorious factory-produced wrinkle, (this time a one-inch affair descending from Bobby’s earlobe) and corner wear sending the crease-free #92 example to VG+ in our eyes. The Orr All-Star (VG-EX) and Calder Trophy (VG+) complete the Bobby hat trick, with the lowdown on the remainder as follows: Howe (EX), Hull (VG-EX), Hull All-Star (EX) and Sanderson RC (VG-EX+) lead the important cards, with Esposito (OC with staining (reverse), otherwise VG-EX+), Howe All-Star (P), 1-Worsley (P) and rookie cards of Lemaire (G+) and Vachon (VG+) lesser. Expect a majority of VG, VG+ and VG-EX among the rest, with roughly equal amounts (a dozen) of sub-VG and EX examples, with 38-Sather RC (EX) and 34-Shack (P) notable. Checklists are marked in pencil but presentable and otherwise VG (#66) and VG+ (#120). An array of stars and groovy colors await the high bidder here.
