Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Lower grade 1973-74 O-Pee-Chee cards are offered here, with however some interesting components upping the allure, namely autographed cards. For starters though, multiple creases and wear send the key Larry Robinson rookie card to P-F, with tape affecting the similar Bobby Orr entry. Better is a crease-free Bill Barber RC (VG), with Terry O’Reilly’s rookie a creased G+ representative. An autographed Billy Smith RC (otherwise VG+) is better condition-wise than that of Dave Schultz (G), with however the latter’s signature bold and superior to the former’s. Frank Mahovlich added his NHL career goal total (“533”) after his bold blue sig, with others signing their respective cards being McCreary, Dan Bouchard, McKenny, Ellis, Schoenfeld, Burrows, Dennis Hull, McSheffrey (RC), Maki, St. Marseille and Barrett. Nicer than grey back-dominated 1st Series cards are their green-bordered, mostly white back 2nd Series counterparts, with a few dozen making it to the VG to VG-EX range. A roughed-up unmarked checklist #129 is joined by two marked others. The one card not present is 74-Gilles Gilbert RC. That’s it – check out the images and let us know if you have interest.
