Items all collected throughout his NHL and WHA travels throughout the 1960s/70s, this lot contains vintage pennants, programs, guides, decals and more including a few signed specimens, with each originating from inaugural-season Minnesota North Star and later Los Angeles Shark, Ted McCaskill. Included, we have 13 full-size pennants – mostly for the WHA including LA (2), Cleveland, Winnipeg and Houston, WHA media guides for the 1973-74 to 1976-77 seasons (4), schedule/stats booklets for 1972-73 and 1973-74, a Racers guide for 1975-76, Canucks guide for 1970-71, WHL guides for 1967-68 and 1968-69, a WHL rule book & schedule for 1971-72 and Hockey Register guides for 1972-73 till 1977-78 (6). There are also 10 1960s/70s NHL and WHA programs, a Boston Bruins cap signed by Bobby Orr and Don Cherry, a 1970-71 NHL guide signed by Gordie Howe, a 1970s Howe family Aeros poster signed by all three, Pro & Amateur hockey guides for 1974-75 and 1975-76, a 1977-78 NHL Rule Book, two 1976 Canada Cup programs, a WHA 1972-73 Action Annual, a Summit Series book, a WHA HOF hardcover book signed by the author and lastly, three Indianapolis Racers decals (3” x 9”) and a single large LA Sharks decal (4” x 13”). The additional pennants include Chicago, Toronto, Alberta, Minnesota, Quebec, Vancouver and New England, with a single NAHL pennant for Mohawk Valley. The programs include late-1960s Leafs (2), 1969-70 Canucks (2), 1972-73 Blazers, 1972-73 Fighting Saints, 1972-73 Cougars, 1972-73 Whalers and 1973-74 Sharks. The programs and guides all show moderate wear, with one program having the covers detached, with the WHA HOF book in new condition. The pennants all show moderate wear, with a number stained and heavily toned. The Howe poster shows heavy wear, with all three signatures displaying well, while the Howe-signed guide includes a personalization, with fading to the signature. The Bruins hat shows light wear with no issues for the signatures.
