Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
"The Great Orr," as Boston Bruin/hockey immortal Milt Schmidt used to like to refer to him, is visible here, with Philadelphia Flyers' leader Bobby Clarke also contributing to the encapsulated offering, graded an inviting NM-MT+ 8.5 by GAI. Topps increased the number of cards in its 1975-76 set to 330 from the previous year's 264, with Orr being the key card and released during Bobby's last season in Boston, one that saw his ravaged knees limit him to just 10 games, with however five goals and 13 assists coming in them. Clarke and the Flyers meanwhile were two-time Stanley Cup champions. Rack packs sure seem to have been a good deal now; 42 cards were to be discovered after forking out 49 cents.
No notable issues to the cards, packaging or GAI holder are to report. There now, you'd have to agree that our consignor racked up an impressive array of unopened material from decades ago.
