Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
The brainchild of Wayne Gretzky and friends, the Ninety Nine All Stars Tour was created to promote hockey around the globe as well as raise money for charity during the 1994-95 NHL lockout. Matches were contested against both professional and all-star clubs, with 8 total games played in 5 different countries. Wayne Gretzky, Brett Hull and fellow HOF members Mark Messier, Paul Coffey, Al MacInnis and Steve Yzerman are among the 18 members of the Great One’s 1994 Ninety-Nine Tour who have signed the Golden Brett’s game-used stick. One side of Hull’s Easton HX 4800 two-piece aluminum was sanded bare for the black marker autographs, with Brett’s original tape jobs intact on the blade and knob. “16” is also stamped on the inserted Christian wooden blade. A signed LOA from Brett Hull will accompany.
The stick is also signed by Hrudey, Gill, Huddy, McSorley, Conacher, Fedorov, Granato, Larmer, Muller and Tocchet. The signatures display well including the Gretzky.
