This is the jersey big defenseman Darnell Nurse wore when he made his NHL debut for Edmonton as a 19-year-old early in the 2014-15 season. Chosen seventh overall by the Oilers in the 2013 draft, Nurse wore this White Set 1 size 58 jersey when he played his first NHL game in Los Angeles on Oct. 14, as stated in the team LOA signed by Kevin Lowe that accompanies it. Nurse’s jersey is photo-matched to the next day in Arizona, the only other game he played for Edmonton in 2014-15, by the small unrepaired hole on the lower left sleeve. Nurse, who played a total of 33:59 before he was returned to Sault Ste. Marie of the OHL, won gold with Canada at the 2015 World Junior Championship in Toronto and Montreal.
Game wear includes a faint mark on the right front tail below the Oilers crest and a black mark on the lower right sleeve along with a few faint small marks adjacent to it.
Elite Edmonton Oilers 2014/2015 Season team patch is sewn inside the right rear tail and MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2014-2015 Season patch sewn inside the left rear tail displays registry No. L02076, which corresponds to the Oilers COA. According to the MeiGray population report this jersey is a “White Set 1 - NHL Debut.”
