Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Leading the Boston Bruins to each and every postseason throughout his lengthy two decades in Beantown except in just 1997, Ray Bourque and his continued, diligent play would be ultimately rewarded as the superstar defenceman and his Colorado Avalanche teammates cruised through the playoffs to claim the 2001 Stanley Cup championship. Celebrating that historic victory, we have a 2001 Colorado Avalanche Stanley Cup Finals alternate captain's jersey signed by the 2004 HOF inductee. A CCM model with “48” sizing along with a tackle twill team crest and numbers, the 2001 Stanley Cup finals crest rests over the left breast, with Ray signing the first reverse “7” in silver, adding “2001 Cup” and “6-9-01”. The signature presents beautifully with no issues, with a hologram from WGA placed beneath along with a COA to accompany.
