A second-round draft selection in 1999, Alex Auld backstopped eight different NHL clubs throughout his career, with time also spent representing Canada internationally, at the World Juniors, Spengler Cup and World Championships. From his lone season with Montreal, where he appeared in 16 games and served as back-up during the Stanley Cup playoffs, we have a photo-matched Canadiens jersey worn by the Cold Lake native, in 2010-11. A “Goalie Style” label and “58+” CCM size tag with handwritten “3” appears along the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with “35” in tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Auld” across the nameplate in single blue twill. Exhibiting a few dark marks over the upper front, additional dark marks are present over each sleeve, with some faint red paint transfer near each elbow section. Getty Image #112074171 from April 7, 2011, has been matched to the black mark on the right sleeve below the "35". The team patch numbered “A02234” sits on the inside hem, while a hologram numbered “GW71201” has been affixed to the second reverse number, with an LOA to accompany from the Canadiens matching both numbers.
