Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

Finishing first in the Pacific Division with a record of 42-29-13 at the conclusion of the 1993-94 NHL season, the Calgary Flames would lose a tightly-fought Conference Quarterfinals series to the Vancouver Canucks in 7. We have a Flames training camp #54 jersey worn in the 1993-94 NHL preseason. A Maska Air-Knit label and size “50” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with NHL and CCM crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the Flames team crest in layered white-over-yellow tackle twill, “54” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material. There is currently no nameplate present over the upper reverse, with evidence of a number of former plates. The team patch is on the inside hem, and it lists the garment as a “1993 Training Camp Red Preseason Jersey”. A large stick mark is over the lower front, with a few marks to the team crest along with a fabric tear with small holes over the upper right reverse.
