Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
A longtime left winger who saw action in a number of leagues throughout his career including the AHL, IHL, DEL and EBEL, Dave Chyzowski only dressed for 126 NHL games, with the bulk of those on Long Island. We have an Islanders jersey worn by the Edmonton native circa 1990-91. A Maska Air-Knit label with handwritten “54” sizing graces the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the familiar Islanders team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the blue V-neck has been accented with white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers with orange trim, with “Chyzowski” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Heavy use is exhibited on the desirable gamer, with wear to the team crest including a stick mark, with dark marks and material pulls over the lower front. There are also burns over each shoulder and sleeve, with a few small resulting holes/slits over the latter, with considerable pilling throughout.
