This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
A member of the prestigious Triple Gold Club having previously won the Stanley Cup as well as a World Championship and Olympic gold medal, Scott Niedermayer is regarded as one of the greatest defenceman in NHL history, with both the New Jersey Devils and Kamloops Blazers retiring his number. We have a helmet that was donned by the 2013 HOF inductee, and according to the accompanying LOA from the New Jersey Devils, the head gear was worn in games and/or practices during the 1999-2004 NHL regular seasons. A CCM model with intact visor, padding and chin strap, all of the original team decals have been removed, with “27” written in red within the interior. Nice use is exhibited with scratches, marks and abrasions present, along with wear over the reverse neckline padding. There is also red paint transfer over one of the ear loops, with heavy rusting over the chin strap clasp. Registered into the MeiGray system as No “119147”, a COR from the authenticators will also accompany.
