Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
A Grey Cup winner with Saskatchewan Roughriders in 1989, center Bob Poley spent 15 seasons in the CFL, and was named a league All-Star in 1986. We have a Calgary Stampeders jersey that was worn by the Saskatoon native in the mid-to-late-1980s. A Russell Athletics size “52” label sits over the lower left front, with no tagging around the collar. Featuring rubberized Stamps logos over each sleeve along with matching red and grey striping bands, “57” in heat-pressed vinyl numerals appear over the front, reverse and shoulders, with pockets over the lower front for those chilly fall days on the prairies. Surviving in beautiful condition, the letters over the original intact nameplate have slightly faded, with some pilling around the front numbers.
