Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Only the third 16-year old behind Wayne Gretzky and Eric Lindros to don the Canadian maple leaf as a World Junior, Jason Spezza is currently with the Dallas Stars, set to partake in his fourth season with the club in the fall of 2017. This signed stick was used by the Mississauga native in 2009-10 while in his seventh season with Ottawa. An Easton S19 model, “Spezza” appears in factory graphics along with “19”, with the stick retaining its tape across the blade and pseudo-tape rubber grip on the handle. Light but definite use is exhibited with marks to the taped section of blade along with a few marks to the lower shaft. Spezza has signed across the clean section of blade (a few strands of tape were removed from the one side) in silver, adding an inscription along the underside of the shaft of “4/20/10 vs Pitt P4”.
