Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
A product of Boston College, Jerry Buckley was a fourth round draft choice of the Bruins at the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. The Needham native also played a few games in the ECHL, with both Richmond and Dayton. We have a pair of Bruins pre-season jerseys that were worn by Buckley in the mid-1990s. Both #73 home and away examples, Maska Air-Knit labeling graces each collar (both size 52), with embroidered CCM crests over the reverse bottom hems along with logos from Custom Crafted. Styled with the famous “spoked-B” Bruins team crests fully administered in tackle twill, the V-neck sweaters have been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. “Buckley” also appears across each nameplate in heat-pressed vinyl letters, with evidence of a former nameplate on each jersey. The white jersey exhibits marks over the lower front, along with pilling beneath the team crest and over each cuff. The black example has marks over the team crest, front band and sleeves, with paint transfer over the right shoulder. LOAs will accompany each jersey.
