Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A representative of Russia at a number of international tournaments including the World Championships and Winter Olympics, Andrei Markov spent parts of 16 seasons with Montreal, and he’s currently playing in the KHL with Ak Bars Kazan. We have a Habs jersey that was worn by the defenceman in 2001-02, his rookie era in the NHL. A CCM label with size “56” fly tag sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with red, white and blue tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Markov” across the nameplate in single blue twill.
Faint marks and burns are present over each sleeve, with some paint transfer over the front and reverse hem along with pilling to the interior beneath the fight strap. Comes with an LOA.
