A standout primarily with Washington and Carolina during his NHL career, Alexander Semin was originally selected 13th overall at the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. The Krasnoyarsk native has also won gold at both the 2008 and 2012 World Championships. We have a Team Russia jersey worn by Semin at the 2010 World Championships, and it’s been photo-matched. A Nike logo along with “62” sizing sits screened-onto the inside collar above an IIHF label, with an additional IIHF crest over the reverse bottom hem. Featuring a textured and embroidered Russian team crest with “Russia” beneath in cryillic, the synthetic polyester jersey has been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching sponsorship patches over each upper sleeve. A Nike inventory bar code numbered 77929 also sits inverted over the inside hem. A signed LOA from Vladislav Tretiak will accompany.
Game-wear includes just a few random marks, with the jersey remaining in wonderful condition. Getty Image #144673669 from May 17th 2012 has been matched to a number of loose threads and sewing patterns on the "28", and to the sponsorship patch placement on the right sleeve.
