Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
Featuring the Bleu Blanc Rouge, we have a collection of vintage Montreal Canadiens items from the 1950s/60s, with a pair of team jackets, along with a pair of children’s wool jerseys. Highlighted by an especially attractive bomber jacket – most likely from the 1950s - in solid red with a simple vintage-style CH crest over the left breast along with knit cuffs, collar and waist band, there is also white leather trim over the pockets. No labeling is present, with the jacket surviving in gorgeous condition. The second jacket is a windbreaker made by notable Quebec maker D&R, with a size “44” label along with a small chenille team crest. The jerseys include a very small example (approx. size 34) with red and white team crest and a somewhat larger jersey (approx. size 42) with a full-colour embroidered Habs team crest. Both jerseys remain in very good condition, with a repair over the reverse on the size 42 example.
