The 1951 World Series champions New York Yankees marked a passing of the torch with the end of Joe DiMaggio’s career and the dawn of Mickey Mantle’s. This 1951 Yankees World Series championship 14-karat gold ring from the midst of New York’s record run of five straight titles is a salesman’s sample with an approximate weight of 31 grams. “Balfour 14K” is stamped inside the size 9 1/2 band of this beautiful bauble with a zirconia set in the baseball diamond tableau that is surrounded by “New York Yankees World Champions” around the bezel. “1951” is displayed above the Yankees logo on each of the two shanks. Very nicely preserved with sharp details, this magnificent ring comes with a Balfour box.
