Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Selected 4th overall at the 1989 NHL Entry Draft, centerman Stu Barnes enjoyed a lengthy career with a number of clubs, with the Spruce Grove native currently a co-owner of the WHL’s Tri-City Americans. We have a Pittsburgh Penguins alternate captain’s Set 1 jersey that was worn by Barnes during his last of 3 seasons spent in the Steel City, in 1998-99. Labeling from Starter along with a “52-R” swatch sit affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Starter crests over the back bottom hem. Styled with an attractive and textured Pens team crest, the solid black V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with customized sleeve cuffs also utilized. Marks are visible on the team crest, with additional examples over the right sleeve’s number. An LOA from the Penguins organization will accompany, along with a COR from MeiGray.
