Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Originally running from 1972-74, the NHL Registered Goal Puck Program allowed individuals to purchase goal pucks from both the regular season and playoffs. This lot contains a puck from the program that was used to score a goal by Bobby Clarke during the 1972-73 season. A Vancouver Canucks rubberized logo graces the front, while the NHL Goal Puck Program label on the reverse lists the scorer, team and date (Feb 9th 1973), along with a code of “PF-1-194” which denotes the team, first year of the program, and the fact that this goal was the Flyers’ 194th of the season. With just some light toning to the Canucks logo along with some discolouration to the Goal Puck Program label, the puck remains in excellent condition.
Each puck from the NHL’s Registered Goal Puck Program was originally distributed by Hockey Diversified, and could be obtained by mail with the buyer’s choice of team and possibly player.
