Worn during the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals, we have Simon Gagne’s Philadelphia Flyers helmet and gloves. The helmet is a Bauer model with all strapping and padding intact including visor, with the identifiers along the sides covered. A pair of Flyers decals grace each upper side, along with “12” covering the back center. The 2010 Stanley Cup Final sticker sits along the bottom right, while the 2010 Winter Classic decal has been placed along the interior. The gloves are also Bauer models in solid black, with the identifiers both screened-on and embroidered. “Gagne 12” appears over each wrist guard, along with “12” handwritten in marker at the bottom of each palm. Holograms are present on each item from the Flyers/MeiGray, with matching LOAs to accompany.
The breakdown for each item is as follows. 1) Simon Gagne’s game-worn helmet. A number of minor marks, scratches and abrasions are present on the helmet, with additional scratches on the visor. The aforementioned hologram from MeiGray numbered WC1622 has been affixed to the interior, and according to the accompanying LOA, the helmet was originally worn in the 2010 Winter Classic followed by use in the regular season, Stanley Cup Playoffs and Stanley Cup Final. 2) Simon Gagne’s game-worn gloves. Moderate use is visible on the gloves, with heavy darkening to the palms including stick tape residue, with additional marks present and visible along white-covered sections. The aforementioned hologram from MeiGray numbered PHI003791 has been affixed to the padding along the inside wrist section, and according to the accompanying LOA, they were worn in the 2010 Stanley Cup Final.
