Featuring the “greatest one” the game has seen, we have a nice collection of Wayne Gretzky memorabilia that includes a number of interesting items including a vintage Jofa “Ninety-Nine” jersey, a Csorba Royal Manor plate from 1984, an Oilers Gretzky tribute program from 1989, vintage photos and more! We have a full copy of the 1999 New York Times that headlines Gretzky’s last game, a copy of a Seneca Nationals program with a young Gretzky, copies of PowerPlay and Sluggers Hockey Card Update with Gretzky covers, 4 photos (11” x 14”) including an example that also pictures Tretiak and Lafleur, 19 vintage Gretzky picture crests and more. The vintage photos total 27, and include Canada Cup examples along with an 8” x 10” of a young Gretzky accepting yet another award.
Also included with this neat Gretzky lot is a framed mirror/clock (13 ¼” x 19 ¼”) with full colour images of Wayne, with the clock mechanism no longer present, a binder full of interesting items including a copy of Wayne’s birth certificate, copies of score sheets from milestone games, Tylenol advertising pamphlets picturing Wayne, original packaging for Jack the Gripper, Upper Deck Ice advertising with Wayne, contest forms from Hespeler, Gretzky restaurant merchandising pamphlets, Esso contest forms, a 1999-2000 Upper Deck box top picturing Wayne, Coca-Cola advertising and more. The limited-edition Royal Manor plate by Csorba is in gorgeous condition, and it comes in its original box. The “Ninety-Nine” jersey is a large size with facsimile signature, and it remains in beautiful condition. Included in the vintage photos are images of Mario Lemieux with Team Canada, Wayne on a breakaway on an American netminder, game-action shots from the 1980s while with the Oilers and there is a beautiful picture of Wayne posing with Dale Hawerchuk, with both in their Team Canada Jerseys.
