This William M. Jennings Trophy was presented in 1992-93 to Black Hawks goalie Ed Belfour, who led Chicago to the lowest goals-against-average in the NHL at 2.66. Eddie the Eagle went 41-18-11 in 71 games with a 2.59 GAA, a .906 save percentage and a league-leading seven shutouts to also claim the Vezina Trophy. Standing just over 11” tall, this substantial personal trophy boasts a regal silver-colored bowl with a goaltender displayed on the front sits perched atop a 7” square wooden base that stands a shade under 6” tall. This prized NHL trophy from one of HOF goalie Ed Belfour’s finest seasons comes with his signed LOA.
“William Jennings Trophy Ed Belfour Chicago Blackhawks 1992-93” reads the plaque affixed to the front of the base. The “Boffey” manufacturer’s sticker remains adhered to the brown felt bottom. In absolutely gorgeous condition with a golden patina to the bowl, which sits loose atop the base.
