Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Newly-minted HOFer Dominik Hasek switched to No. 39 when he was traded to Buffalo, but still had Chicago colors on the sticks he first used with the Sabres in 1992-93. The Dominator has signed the top of the paddle of his Sher-Wood game-used stick from the outset of his stellar turn with the Sabres which retain’s Hasek’s original tape jobs on the knob and blade. “Hasek 39” is stamped on the shaft of this beauty, which saw plenty of game use, as evidenced by the puck gouges that cracked the top edge of the paddle in a few places. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
More game use shows in pucks marks on the shaft, paddle and taped blade, wear to the bottom edge of the tape job on the blade, a chip on the toe, and red goalpost paint transfer on the shaft.
